The Exelon Patch 10 (9.5 mg/24 h) is an ultrathin, matrix-based transdermal patch (10 cm2) that slowly releases 9.5 mg of the rivastigmine base over a 24-hour period into the bloodstream for treating mild-to-moderate dementia.
Appearance: A small, circular or square, thin, opaque patch made of plastic, and beige backing layer. Labeling: The outer surface of the beige backing layer contains the identification EXELON PATCH 10 9.5MG IN PAKISTAN inscription of “BHDI,” as well as “Exelon Patch 10”.Co mposition: Every 10 cm2 patch contains 18 mg of rivastigmine base to provide for the sustained-release of 9.5 mg per 24 hours.
