Duodart 0.5 0.4 mg Capsule is a prescription combination medicine that is used to treat symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlarged prostate gland in males.

Duodart 0.5 mg capsule  – It is an inhibitor of 5-alpha reductase which inhibits the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT) thereby decreasing the size of the prostate. Tamsulosin Hydrochloride (0.4 mg) – It is an alpha-blocker which relaxes the muscles in the prostate gland and neck of the bladder.

Reduction in the likelihood of acute total urinary retention.Reduction in the need for BPH surgery.

It is prescribed to take one DUODART 0.5MG CAPSULE IN PAKISTAN capsule each day, around 30 minutes after consuming the same meal everyday.Orally consume it by swallowing the entire capsule with water. Do not chew or crush the capsule since its powder might irritate your mouth and throat.

Contraindicated in case of women, children or people having allergy to dutasteride, Tamsulosin, soy, or peanuts.Pregnancy Risk: Pregnant or potentially pregnant women should not come in contact with broken or leaking capsules due to the risk of injury to a male fetus.Side effects include dizziness, decreased sex drive, impotence and ejaculation problems.
