Florinef 0.1mg tablet

The active ingredient in Florinef 0.1 mg is fludrocortisone acetate – a very powerful synthetic mineralocorticoid with glucocorticoid effects.

It is administered as replacement therapy for partial regulation Florinef  0.1mg tablet of salt, water, and blood pressure in Addison’s disease, adrenocortical insufficiency, and salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome.

Fludro cortisone acetate (0.1 mg per tablet).

Main indications: Addison’s disease, primary or florinef 0.1mg tablet in pakistan secondary adrenocortical insufficiency, and salt-losing adrenogenital syndrome (usually used in combination with hydrocortisone or cortisone).

Dosage: 0.1 mg/day for adults (from 0.1 mg three times a week to 0.2 mg per day depending on the condition).

Side effects may include fluid retention (edema), hypertension, hypokalemia, and muscular weakness.

It is required to control the level of blood pressure and electrolytes in the blood regularly while receiving Florinef.

Contraindications: contraindicated in case of systemic fungal infections and hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Storage: keep at room temperature, away from humidity and overheating.
