Capcita 500 mg Tablet is an oral chemotherapy drug that has capecitabine as its active ingredient. The drug is mainly used to treat different types of cancers including breast, colon, rectal, and stomach cancer; sometimes in combination with other chemotherapy drugs.
The way this drug works in the body is through prodrugs. After you take Capcita, it will be naturally metabolized in the body to form 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), which is the active component of the Capcita 500mg tablet in pakistan medicine. 5-FU prevents cancer cells from producing genetic material (DNA and RNA), and this interferes with their multiplication process thus killing the cancer cells.
How to Take Administration: Take the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.
