Description
Zolp is used to treat insomnia (trouble sleeping). It belongs to the group of medicines called central nervous system (CNS) depressants, which slows down the nervous system. Zolpidem will help you get to sleep faster and sleep throughout the night.
Zolp 10 mg TABLETS contains the active substance zolpidem tartrate 10 mg. ZOLNOXS 10 mg TABLETS is used to initiate sleep in adults with severe sleeping difficulties, also called insomnia, for a short-term only.
Zolp 10mg Tablet is used for short-term (2-4 weeks) treatment of insomnia (difficulty falling asleep). It should be taken exactly as prescribed by the doctor. The dose and duration of treatment should not be exceeded else it may lead to dependence (addiction towards medicine).
ZOLP (zole PI dem) treats insomnia. It helps you get to sleep faster and stay asleep throughout the night. It is often used for a short period of time. This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.
The strongest sleeping pills – such as benzodiazepines, “Z-drugs”, and antidepressants – tend to be available on prescription only. But over-the-counter antihistamines such as promethazine can also be used to help with insomnia

It’s important to take zolpidem exactly as your doctor tells you. Your doctor might ask you to take a tablet on only 2 or 3 nights of the week, rather than every night. Swallow the tablet whole with a drink of water. Do not crush or chew it.
Benzodiazepine receptor agonists may be safe to take for long periods. These are prescription medications that include prescription strength zaleplon (Sonata), zolpidem (Ambien), and eszopiclone (Lunesta).
The most concerning adverse effects, which are often the most publicized, include the complex behaviors that have been seen in patients taking Zolpidem, such as sleeping, hallucinations, increased suicidality, driving cars while asleep, and even a few cases of committing homicide.
