Description

Ativan (lorazepam) 2mg tablets are a prescription benzodiazepine.

used for the short-term management of Arivan 2mg anxiety disorders, insomnia, and acute agitation.

They act as a central nervous system (CNS) depressant to produce calming effects. The 2mg tablets are white and Arivan 2mg Tablet PRICE  contain lorazepam, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and polacrilin potassium.

Primary Uses: It is mainly used for anxiety, sleeping disorders caused due to anxiety, seizures, and as a pre-operative anxiolytic.Onset & Duration: Effects usually reach their maximum after about 2 hours and continue for up to 24-36 hours.Availability in Pakistan:

Lorazepam acts on the Benzedrine receptor sites in the brain. It increases the inhibitory action of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid which makes the nervous system tranquillised.

Drowsiness: Excessive drowsiness during the day, dizziness, and muscle weakness may occur. It is advised not to operate machinery or drive when taking this medication until you are sure of its effects.Drug Dependence and Withdrawal: Due to its addictive nature, it must be taken in prescribed amounts and duration only.

Abrupt discontinuation causes very serious withdrawal symptoms like tremors and seizures.Drug Interaction: Consumption of alcohol should always be avoided during treatment with Arivan because this would result in an enhanced risk of dizziness and motor coordination disturbances.Pregnancy and Elderly: Caution is recommended when using Arivan in pregnancy and old age groups.
