Dasatinib 50 mg tablet is an oral prescription kinase inhibitor (commercial name is Spry cel, among others) used for treating certain types of leukemia, which include Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). The drug inhibits certain abnormal proteins causing proliferation of cancer cells.

Stops proliferation of abnormal white blood cells.TARGETS BCR-ABL, SRC and other selected kinase enzymes.TREATS CML and Ph+ ALL in patients who do not respond or suffer adverse reactions to other medications such as imatinib.

Take orally as a whole tablet. Do not break, crush, chew or open the tablet. Take exactly as directed by your doctor.
