Description
Kisqali 200 mg is a selective orally administered agent for treating certain forms of HR-positive and HER2 negative breast cancer. It works as a CDK4/6 inhibitor and when taken along with hormone therapies, it inhibits the enzymes which promote cell division in order to slow down cancerous tumors
Active ingredient: It contains 200 mg of ribociclib (ribociclib succinate). Early Breast Cancer: As an adjuvant treatment in adult patients with stage II and III HR+ HER2- early breast cancer with high recurrence rate. Advanced/metastatic Breast Cancer: As an initial endocrine-based therapy or for disease progression after endocrine therapy.
Advanced/metastatic Dosage: Normally 600 mg (three tablets of 200 mg) once daily. Early Breast Cancer Dosage: Normally 400 mg (two tablets of 200 mg) once daily. Schedule: Once daily for 21 consecutive days followed by 7 days of no treatment (28 day cycle). Administration: Take the tablet whole with water, with or without food. Do not chew.
