Letrozole is a non steroidal competitive aromatase inhibitor. Letrozole works through inhibition of aromatase enzyme that results in decreased formation of estrogens from androgens. The decrease in the level of estrogen stops the development of estrogen-dependent cancer cells.
Dosage for Adults: One tablet of 2.5 mg administered orally once daily.Prescription Method: It should be swallowed as a whole tablet with a full glass of water regardless of whether the patient eats.
