Description
Mimicipar 30 mg is an oral drug that consists of Cinacalcet. The medication is prescribed to treat hyperparathyroidism and elevated blood calcium levels. The drug mimics the effect of calcium in the body and triggers parathyroid gland to secrete less of the parathyroid hormone (PTH). As a result, a person mimicipar 30mg tablet experiences better health of his bones and proper blood calcium levels.
Indications: Treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic kidney mimicipar 30mg tablet in pakistan disease (CKD) patients who have undergone dialysis procedure. In addition, the medication is prescribed for parathyroid cancer treatment and severe cases of primary hyperparathyroidism.Dosage instructions.
Swallow the tablets whole with a sip of water. Do not crush or chew them. Take the drug with or soon after meals.Dose: Normally, patients get one 30 mg tablet daily or twice daily depending on the indication. Your doctor will adjust your dose depending on the blood test results.
Hypoglycemia: The drug may lead to dangerously low calcium levels. Blood tests are necessary. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience muscle spasms, numbness and seizures.Prescribed products: Do not take extra calcium or vitamin D supplements without talking to your doctor.Important: Do not drive or use any machinery as this medication may cause dizziness.
