Description
Nitrofurantoin 100mg tablets are prescription antibiotics used to treat and prevent acute,
uncomplicated lower urinary Nitrofurantoin 100mg TABLET ONLINE tract infections (UTIs) like cystitis.
It works by killing bacteria directly in the urine, with common brands including Nitrofurantoin 100mg tab PRICE Macrodantin.
and Macrobid (as capsules). It is not effective for kidney infections (pyelonephritis) or systemic infections.

The tablet should always be taken complete. Take the pill in presence of food and milk to enhance its effectiveness and protect yourself from vomiting.Appearance: It’s normal for your urine to turn orange or dark yellow in colour while under this medication.
Do Not Take When: When you have severe renal impairment, difficulty urinating, or a past history of liver injury caused by this drug.Pregnancy Alert: It is generally advised against when you’re in the final two weeks up to four weeks of pregnancy.
Efficacy: This drug can only cure bacterial infections and not viral diseases including the flu and common cold.
Dose: Nitrofurantoin 100 mg twice a day for five days is used for the treatment of lower UTI.
A dose of seven days of 100 mg twice daily can also be prescribed. Nitrofurantoin dosing for five days or less is associated with reduced efficacy and is therefore discouraged.
