Description
XAVOR DIU 50/12.5mg is a medication prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and edema. The drug contains Losartan Potassium (50mg) which is Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) to dilate blood vessels and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg) which is diuretic and causes the kidneys to get rid of extra salt and water from the body.
Losartan Potassium: 50 mg Hydrochlorothiazide Xavor diu 50/12.5 mg tablet . Antihypertensive & Diuretic combination.
High Blood Pressure: Reduces high blood pressure in patients whose blood pressure is poorly controlled with Losartan alone. Reduction of Stroke Risk: Recommended for reducing the risk Xavor diu 50/12.5 mg tablet in pakistan of stroke in people with high blood pressure and an enlarged heart (left ventricular hypertrophy), though such a reduction may not occur in Black patients. Edema: Used to help reduce excessive fluid retention and swelling in edema related to heart or kidney problems.
Adult Standard Dose: Generally one tablet per day. Possibilities: The tablets must be taken whole and washed down with a glass of water. Warning and Precautions Use in Pregnancy: Should not be used during pregnancy, because it may harm or even cause the death of the unborn child. Kidney or Liver Disease: With care or not at all in severe kidney disease. Allergy Warning: Not recommended for individuals with allergy to sulfonamide drugs.
